September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

Participate | Be Visible | Focus on Self HealthDonate

Even though prostate cancer is as prevalent as breast cancer, in the United States and worldwide we need more attention and funding to better serve prostate cancer patients and their families. Here are a just a few ways you can increase awareness and commemorate Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and Prostate Cancer Awareness Week, September 16-22, 2007.

Participate!

Be Visible!

  • Increase awareness in your community! Put up Us TOO’s new SEA Blue awareness posters in your doctor’s offices, at hospitals and clinics, in grocery stores, in store fronts, at work, church, the library, and many other public places! To request posters, contact Jackie in the Us TOO home office.

  • Promote blue and the blue ribbon! The blue ribbon universally signifies research and patient support efforts for Prostate Cancer.

  • Wear and share prostate cancer blue wristbands

  • Get a car magnet! They are great for your refrigerator or file cabinets, too!

  • Wear an Us TOO hat when golfing, running errands, sporting events or anywhere people will notice it!

Focus on Self Health!
